Aesthetics treatments available:
Treatments involve small injections of minute quantities of either Botox® or Azzalure® (both manufactures of the Bottulinum A. toxin) into specific parts of the upper face. It is a wonderful option for those wishing to decrease the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Whilst the results are not permanent, they can last for as long as six months in some clients, with the average patient experiencing visible results from somewhere between three and four months.
Though there are many different types of dermal fillers currently on the market, most of them are designed with the same purpose in mind. That purpose is to make you look younger and/or more attractive. The modern dermal filler is made with Hyaluronic acid which is a naturally occurring protein widely distributed in the human body. Dermal fillers are a gel like substance injected into the problem area with a fine needle and are capable of minimizing fine lines and wrinkles, diminish the appearance of facial scars, add a little oomph to your lips. As with Botox® dermal filler treatments are not permenant but the results can last anywhere between 6-12 months depending on the product ansed and the area treated.
A treatment similar to dermal filler that hydrates your skin using multiple micro injections of light hyaluronic acid combined with amino acids, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Can be used at any age for loss of radiance, drawn features and fines line.
Skin Peel Glycolic peels:
Provide the skin with a chemical exfoliating process that works with the body’s own natural methods of ridding itself of dead skin cells. Typically it is used on the face but can also be used to treat the décolletage as well as hands. Glycolic peels are on the milder end of the peel spectrum, so have minimal downtime and no extreme reactions (so no red peeling faces). Although on the milder end of the scale a course of glycolic peels is effective in treating a range of issues from: wrinkles, sun damage, dull-looking skin, acne/blemishes and both dry and oily skin issues.
A TCA peel is the application of trichloroacetic acid to the skin in order to achieve a controlled burn to the top layers of skin. There are side effects but they are minimised by the procedure being spread over a 4 week period. A TCA peel is effective in removing fine lines, especially around the mouth, small scars, discolorations, such as freckles or liver spots and areas of sun damaged skin.
